Microsoft Teams vs WhatsApp for work
Teams looks inevitable in a Microsoft shop. WhatsApp is what a shift already has on the phone. The grade asks which one this company will actually open.

When Teams is the honest pick
Knowledge-work companies already on Outlook, SharePoint, and Entra ID should not pretend they will run a second chat. A shift team still has to get a login people will open between services.
When WhatsApp is what the shift already uses
Hospitality, retail, and site crews stay on WhatsApp because nothing new has to be installed. The company does not own that history, and a personal phone can leave with the record. A company-owned chat is a third path. Grade the profile instead of treating either logo as the answer.
